AFC Industries acquired Chicago-based Cavanaugh Government Group (CGG). Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Founded in 2012, CGG sources and distributes parts and services for military and defense applications and logistics across all government sectors.
“Expanding the capability and depth of our Aerospace and defense group is a key strategic focus for us and CGG is another important step in that direction. They bring a lot of expertise,” stated AFC CEO Kevin Godin.
“We have worked hard to build a great team and grow our business,” added CGG owner Mike Cavanaugh. “We were looking for the right partner to help us take it to the next level and we are confident and excited about the next chapter as part of the AFC team.”
Cincinnati-based AFC provides supply chain management solutions for fasteners, tooling and assembly components to OEMs. AFC services include VMI, stock and release programs, light assembly, kitting and private labeling.
